Conversion of a Category A listed bank to a new city centre hotel & spa, for Perthshire luxury hotel firm Gleneagles. As heritage architects and consultants, working alongside 3D Reid architects, we supported the wider team in understanding, conserving, and adapting the existing fabric; safeguarding the overall integrity of the building for the future while allowing careful intervention of the historic fabric to meet the updated needs of today.
The works included, alongside a general scheme of repairs and alterations, reversing modern inappropriate alterations, reinstatement of lost details and sensitive improvements to provide improved accessibility.
