Gargunnock House is a category A-listed ‘lesser’ lairds house. Built in the 16th century it was extended by various owners over the next 200 years. The house is now managed for holiday letting for the Trustees by the Landmark Trust. Simpson & Brown produced a Condition Report in 2002 following a thorough inspection of the exterior and interior. We also installed an upgraded fire detection system in consultation with a fire consultant. The work involved carefully running new wiring behind existing historic finishes throughout the house and locating new fire detectors in suitable ceiling positions.
