Yester Chapel, East Lothian

Yester Chapel in East Lothian is a fifteenth centrury collegiate church which was recast by Robert Adam in the Rococo Gothic manner. It is also the mausoleum of the Hay family.

A thorough programme of repair and conservation was carried out, including large scale renewals and repairs to the stone flagged roof inserting new stones where masonry was severely decayed. The windows were reglazed and the monuments were conserved.

The project was part-funded by a generous grant from Historic Scotland.
