St Nicholas Parish Church, Lanark
Simpson & Brown were commissioned by Clydesdale District Council to carry out major external repairs and internal alterations to St Nicholas Parish Church in Lanark. The building fabric had deteriorated to such an extent that re-roofing was necessary. Damaging cement render was removed and replaced with lime harling and lime wash. The windows and doors were repaired or replaced as required, and the timber ground floor was completely replaced following an extensive archaeological investigation.
