Archaeology & Building Analysis
A proper approach to the repair, restoration and alteration of historic buildings and other work on historic sites depends on careful preparation. This frequently requires documentary research and analysis, the physical investigation of building fabric, and where appropriate, ground excavation. It is increasingly common for consents and funding to be conditional on such work as well as a commitment to archaeological monitoring and recording.
