Eleanor Egan
Eleanor first joined the practice whilst a student in 1996 and worked as an architectural assistant on projects at Loretto School in Musselburgh to build a new IT building, and on an extension to Prestonfield House Hotel in Midlothian. She began her professional career in 1999 at Adam Dudley Architects, where she was involved in various projects including the alteration of a listed Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh, the installation of a contemporary pool with a glazed link to an Arts & Crafts house in Ratho, and the refurbishment of some derelict flats associated with a Playfair property in Edinburgh.
Eleanor re-joined the practice in 2003. She has been involved in survey work at Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island in Northumberland, the acquisition of consents for Georgian properties in Raeburn Place, Picardy Place and George Street in Edinburgh, and the conversion of farm buildings into dwellings at Reds Hill in East Lothian.
