Penicuik House
The Scottish Lime Centre’s training facility at Penicuik House has recently opened. Training courses on traditional building techniques and materials can now take place in the lecture room and new covered work area that has been created within the house’s former Service Yard.
The training facility is part of the Penicuik House Project which will consolidate and preserve the ruin of Penicuik House, which was destroyed by fire in 1899.
