Blackburn House

Work to restore Blackburn House for the Cockburn Conservation Trust is completed. The building appears at first to be a small country house, typical of a type that had emerged throughout Scotland in the mid-18th century, but in fact Blackburn is a four storeyed farmhouse. Blackburn House will be let to Arthouse UK who specialise in the development of workspaces for the creative and cultural industries within buildings of high historic and architectural value.
